About the role:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will drive the go-to market plan, as well as manage retail, consumer brand, and financial industry marketing of our client’s platform including enterprise analytics, market intelligence and collaboration portal solutions. The candidate will work closely with sales, marketing, product management and client services teams to define strategic direction and drive execution to achieve business goals. He or she will be expected to be customer-obsessed, strategic, detailed-oriented and highly creative in order to communicate clear, differentiated, defensible and monetizable value messaging that results in exponential industry revenue growth and surpassed client expectations.

What you will take on:
- Partner with internal teams to help spearhead the solution strategy that drives awareness, demand, sales and client satisfaction in the global marketplace
- Create the GTM plan and optimize competitive positioning, lifecycle messaging, value articulation, marketing strategies and sales plays for specific sub-segments, target accounts and target buying persona
- Analyze market dynamics and competitive situations (leveraging the market intelligence team) using client, competitive and market data to create product marketing strategies that assure our solutions are aligned with the market, yet competitively differentiated
- Build business content to help the sales team understand and confidently articulate versus competitor offerings and value propositions
- Lead specific product and service launch activities for our target markets supporting the product roadmap’s present and future strategies – working with all internal stakeholders to assure timely and successful rollouts
- Enable the field with key communications as well as training content, assets and client testimonials to support the buyer and client lifecycle
- Build marketing content in the form of messaging guides, presentations, solution briefs, articles, press releases, blog posts, thought leadership, social initiatives, webcasts, advertising, digital assets and website content
- Design integrated marketing programs by working closely with the demand and growth marketing team
- Lead the process for the continuous evaluation of trends and adjust strategy to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace
- Establish effective relationship with the sales force with leadership, training, pricing and positioning expertise
What you already have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, business or related fields (MBA or related graduate degree is a plus)
- 5+ years direct experience in enterprise data and analytics software marketing and/or retail, consumer brands, and finance industry knowledge
- Ability to demonstrate the connection between the client’s portfolio and customer problems and unmet/unknown needs and design, build and market compelling marketing approaches
- Experience in developing consultative and trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders; discovering and identifying issues and opportunities; and leveraging business acumen to develop winning business cases and value propositions
- Aptitude to develop a customer buying vision and command attention and commitment from teams, clients, partners, media, influencers and analysts
- Exceptional analytical skills to deconstruct, interpret and link together complex market activities, performance results and disparate forms of data to derive conclusions
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities (e.g. ability to conceptually frame problems and identify creative solutions); excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills; attention to detail and accuracy, strong commitment to quality and delivery agreements
- Strong management skills; proactively manages and adjusts to the dynamic needs of the internal customer base; ability to prioritize simultaneous projects/deliverables/deadlines to successful completion (i.e. in a quality and timely manner) while keeping focus on strategic priorities
